Herman Murders Herman Samuel Murders, age 81, of Dardanelle, AR died Thursday, November 13, 1997 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born May 23, 1916 in Buckville, AR to the late Joseph and Ida Adams Murders. Among his survivors is his wife, Jewell C. Murders of Dardanelle. Jimmy Parker Jimmy "Jay" Parker, age 78, of Shawnee, OK died Monday, November 10, 1997 in a local hospital. He was born March 23, 1919 in Birta, AR, the son of James and Mattie Boyce Parker. Among his survivors is his ex-wife, Ethel Johnson, who he married in 1953. Preceding him in death was his father, James Parker; mother and step-father, Mattie and William F. Scurggs. Graveside service was held at Trinity Chapel of Resthaven Memorial Park. Alma Lipe Alma (Kyle) Lipe, age 94, a resident of Russellville, AR formerly of Havana, AR died Friday, November 14, 1997 at Legacy Lodge Nursing Home in Russellville. She was born July 8, 1903 at Newton County to Henry and Laura (Lee) Kyle. She was the widow of the late Fred Lipe. Interment in Havana Cemetery. Irvin Pruitt Irvin Ernest Pruitt of Idaho Falls, ID died on November 4, 1997. He was born November 25, 1909 in Danville, AR to Wilburn O. and Margaret Goswick Pruitt. On May 26, 1938 he married Jeanne Merrill in Cheyenne, WY. She preceded him in death on October 24, 1992. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery in Dillon, MT with Masonic rites.
