    1. [ARYELL-L] Mifflin, 1910 Census ED District 0163 - Vinson and Death Certificates
    2. Greetings.  I am still trying to figure out the mother of my Eugene M. Vinson, Carrie F. Vinson Sims, Samuel Vinson, and now Bessor (?) Vinson Mifflin.  There is a Lusco E. Mifflin (I believe that is what it says) with his wife Bessor living in Yell County, Arkansas.  They are on the soundex of the 1910 Census at Volume 069 Enumeration District Number 0163 and Visitation Number 0082.  Try as hard as I can I cannot make out the names clearly enough.  It appears to be Bessor Mifflin wife and Better Vinson Mother in Law.  I have not located them in the 1920 Census records of Ark, LA, Mississippi, or Oklahoma.  Also, I believe the easy way for me to do this is to get a death Certificate for Eugene M. Vinson.  He died 13 Nov 1916.  He is not listed on the Arkansas Death index that we have available in Independence, Missouri.  Did Yell County send records to the state for that time frame?  Does anyone know how to get a copy of that record?  Is it at the court house there or in Little Rock?  Is there a listing of Lawyers from 1910 in Yell County that shows Lusco Mifflin? And finally, is there someone in Yell County would remembers Carrie Sims that might know who her parents were?

    3. Any name that is not listed in the "Arkansas Death Records Index' is not on record at the Arkansas Dept of Health in Little Rock. Desmond Walls Allen took the index directly from the ARk. Dept of Health. The Records began being kept in about 1914, but, many, of the records early on were not sent in to the state.
