I'm looking for my great grandparents, Alex T. McClain and Annie Neloms/Nelms. The surname was spelled Neloms on my grandmother's death certificate, but family is unsure if the spelling is correct. They have been spotted in the 1900 Yell Co. census. Alex T. was b. Jan 1840 in AR (unknown county) and Annie was b 1870 in AR (unknown county). They were in Sebastian Co., Ft. Smith when my grandmother, Samantha Ethel McClain, was born in Sept. 1897. A family note states that "Samantha Ethel McClain was born to the Choctaw families." Do Alex T.
