Hi I am still looking for information about my great grandfather's, WILLIAM PRESTON MORROW, parents. All I know is they were born in Indiana. An old family legend says that these Morrows were from Ireland originally. There were three MORROWS in Scott County Arkansas in the 1880s and later. All were born in Indiana, and I think they may have been brothers and sister. Below is a descendant outline of these families. I have been able to trace the descendants of WILLIAM PRESTON MORROW, and some of NANCY MORROW'S. I have not been able to trace ISAAC MORROW and WINNIE PITTS after 1920. EDWARD MORROWS family is in Scott County in the 1900 and 1910 census in Lewis Township, but not in Scott County in 1920. There is a story that a brother of WILLIAM P. MORROW moved away from Scott County and that his descendants ended up in Tulsa, Oklahoma where some of WILLIAM P. MORROW'S descendant's also live to this day. Could that possibly be the EDWARD MORROW listed below? I have just recently came upon this story, so have not had time to check it out. And then this census record was found. Because of the name, Samuel, I think this might be a good possibility of being our MORROW family. The problem is, the child, William L. is listed as a female. As we know with census records, this is very possibly an error, either in transcribing or an error of the enumerator.
