Jim, I'm also doing some research on this family.I was married to the Mangum side.I was married to Maggie and John Mangums grandson. We are divorced now but I have two sons that are Mangums, later on they might want to know who came from where. I was wanting confirmation that Jacobs wife was a Gee.I was told that it was. Thanks for clearing that up.If you can get into any census,I know that they lived in the Dutch Creek Township in Yell County.I can't get into the 1870 census yet,but in the 1880's Jacob was living with his parents. His father has initials for his name,I cant make them out might be a G.I.he was 6o ,mothers looks like a K could be an R.she was 59,I think .Looks like he was born in Tenn.and her NY.I hate it when they just put initials on those census.I guess they didn't realize how beneficial they would be later on for people. Maggie and John are buried at Whitesboro,Ok in Leflore Co. They have two sons still living.I realize that you posted your message some time ago,if you have found out anything on Jacobs or Marys family please let me know. Regards, Loretta
