For several months now messages posted to the ARYELL Message board have been appearing on the ARYELL email list. Often the messages seem personal and or make no sense to listmembers since they are often responses to board messages posted months or years ago. There may be advantages to the list members seeing these messages and there may be problems. I notice that the list is getting very little use other than these messages. There must be a reason that members are not posting to the list. It may be that genealogy is set aside when the world is in an uproar ,but I wonder if it is the message boards? In the year 2000 we had an average of 63 messages a month and in 2001 we are having only 46 messages a month average. Our list is down about 20 to 40 members . We have 157members as I write this. A year ago we had over 200. I would like some feedback from you sent to me PERSONALLY -- Not to the list. If you just hit the reply button anything you say will come to me. 1. Have you learned anything about your genealogy from a Board Message? 2. Do you enjoy seeing those messages on the List.? 3.
