Autrey (middle name maybe Samuel) md Mahala Alberson in St. Clair Co., Ala. Possibly listed in the 1830 St. Clair Co. Census and the 1840 Talladega Co., Ala Census. Listed in 1850 Tishomingo Co., Ms Census with daughters: Hulda, Clarinda, Arminta, Mary and Maryanne. Son Absalom and wife Delilah Frances Smith are living next door. James S. Died in Tishomingo County in the 1850’s. He is possibly son or grandson of Absalom Autrey of St. Clair Co., Ala. Absalom and Delilah Autrey are listed in the 1860 White Co., Ar Census. Absalom died about 1869. Delilah married Thomas H. Booth, but marriage lasted only about one year. Cannot find her and children in the 1870 census. She is listed in the 1880 Sebastian Co. Ar. Census living with daughter Frances and her husband Benjamin Cravens Harrison. >From family stories there is a possible connection with Yell Co., Ar for either the Autrey or Harrison family.
