Margaret b. 1859 N.C. Matthew b.1861 AR. Found him in the 1870 census in Yell CO with a Bennett family which my be his mother.Found him again in 1900 in Yell CO.He married Henrietta Ives Nov 29 1889. She died in 1899. They had 2 children Claude b.1893 and Henrietta b.Nov 1899.After Henrietta died he married Pearl ?.Anything on this family would be great.

Connie, you mentioned that the Bennett Lady in the 1870 census might be his Jenkins mother. Don't know if you have seen this record. JENKINS, Mrs. Marie to BENNETT, William 30 June, 1867 Yell County, AR. Maybe she lost her husband in the civil war that ended in 1865. After Henrietta died he married Pearl GAYDEN. JENKINS, A. age 37 to Pearl GAYDEN age 20, 30 Sept. 1899, Yell Co. Andrew liked younger women, Henrietta was age 19 when he was 26 and Pearl was age 20 when he was 37.
