Jo, About all I know about the Howards was what I posted just now. The only info I have on any Wallace comes from the 1880 census which listed the following in Casa Twp., Perry Co., AR, next door to Yell County. I am not a descendant of either the Howard or Wallace family. I was just researching the Murdocks and came across these names as I was working on the census of 1880. If I run onto anything that I think might connect to you, I will get back: 81: Wallace, W. C., (W,M, 23) farmer, born in AL, father born in AL, mother born in TN 81: Wallace, Lucile E., (W,F,35) wife, housekeeper, born in AL, no info on parents 81: Wallace, Jno, J., (W,M,7) son, born in AR 81: Wallace, William C., (W,M,6) son, born in AR 81: Wallace, Alexander, (?)
