Charlene, In my notes I have that Spring Creek Township was created in 1842. Part to Rover in 1866. Name changed to Danville between 1880-1890. Hope this helps. Beth

Does anyone have or know of where I can find where the townships of Yell county were in 1850. I am specifically looking for Spring Creek Twp. I have a 1936 map that shows the townships in 1936, but there is no Spring Creek. I know that townships changed a lot from 1850 to 1936. Charlene
