No, I do not have info on any of the Rhoads' outside of my line. I do know that some of the Rhoads' from PA migrated to IN and IL. You might do a search on the family of Capt. Henry Rhoads from PA. I think his family tree spread to IL. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Rick

Listmembers, I think I have mentioned before about the changes being made by Rootsweb/Ancestry that have combined our Gen-Connect boards with Ancestry's message boards. We get messages like the one below that seem like personal email gone astray but in fact is an addition to a message already on those boards. The reason is something called "Gateway" That causes messages posted on the boards to come to the list This is confusing to me as listowner and board administrator and I'm learning slowly about this new system. On my computer I can go up to 'file'>properties> and look to see where the message is coming from. If it says from gateway...... then I know the message appeared on the board. Some people posting on these boards may be unaware that our list even exists. Maybe we will make new connections if this merge is a success. I don't have a Mary Adeline McMinn. I have one possible, all I have on her name is Mary A. McMinn, born abt. 1822, in Hawkins County, Tennessee. She was a daughter of Joseph and Rebecca Kincastle McMinn. This Joseph, b. 1798, was a nephew of Joseph McMinn who was a Governor of Tennessee, and for whom McMinn County was named. Several of these Hawkins county McMinns later moved to McMinn County. I don't have anything else on this Mary A. McMinn. Do you know where Mary Adeline married in Tn? There was a Chresada ( possible Lucretia) McMinn, born abt. 1824, in Hawkins county, married John J. Parker in 1845, McMinn County, and they moved to Walker County, Georgia about 1852.
