David was born in 1777 and married Margaret (Peggy) Roddy. David and Peggy's son, Willie B., was my husband's gggfather. In turn Willie B.'s son was David S. Haston and he married Mollie McLemore. They were my husband's ggparents. I have quite a bit of information on the Haston Family, some I have researched myself, and lots I have received by bits and pieces from other relatives. I did have Joseph as having married Sarah Ann Criely but I did not have any of their children listed. David S. and Mollie married September 16, 1880, in Yell County; and W.D. (Willard Durham) Haston married Sally Ward McLemore (Mollie's sister) on the same day. David S. is listed as having been born in 1857 in Sparta, Tennessee and W.D. Haston is listed as having been born May 10, 1860 in Arkansas so some of the Hastons had to move to Arkansas bet! ween 1857 and 1860. I have not run this through the Family Tree Maker to see what relationship there is, but you and my husband are definitely related. Thanks, June Cole

Gretrude Hunt and Charles Cleveland Kitchans had a second daughter: Syble Irene Kitchens, born Sept. 19, 1907, Scott Co., Arkansas. She married (date unknown) Willie Monroe Copeland (born 1899, died 1978). They had the following children: Dalbert Wayne born 1930, Dorothy Dean born 1932, Freddy Dewitt born 1934, Teddy Lee born 1936, Peggy Jean born 1942. Syble Irene Kitchens married Buddie Slater in 1978.

James Buchanan1 Hunt, son of Wilson Hunt and Martha Ann Eliza Cain, was born Scott County, Arkansas March 4, 1857. James died April 17, 1947 in Texas, at 90 years of age. His body was interred April 1947 in Burnet County, Texas. He married Sarah Adams in Yell County, Arkansas, December 21, 1879. Yell County Marriage records, he was 23, she was 17 of Yell County. Sarah was born in Mississippi 1862. Sarah died after 1900 in Yell County, Arkansas. James Buchanan Hunt and Sarah Adams had the following children: 2 i. Sanford Hancock2 Hunt was born Scott County, Arkansas September 16, 1880. Sanford died February 16, 1932 in Texas, at 51 years of age. 3 ii. Mattie C. Hunt was born in Arkansas April 1884. Mattie died before 1907 in Arkansas. POD - suppositional only. She married A.G. Nance in Yell County, Arkansas, July 14, 1901. A.G. was born in Arkansas about 1876. POB - Suppositional only. + 4 iii. Gertrude Hunt was born 1888. Second Generation 4. Gertrude2 Hunt (James Buchanan1) was born in Arkansas 1888. She married Charles Cleveland Kitchens "Reverend" in Arkansas, about 1905. Charles was born in Arkansas March 14, 1885. Source: Park Cemetery List Charles was the son of Charles Andrew Jackson Kitchens "Reverend" and Azaline S. Holland. Charles died December 3, 1972 in Arkansas, at 87 years of age. His body was interred December 1972 in Parks Cemetery. Gertrude Hunt and Charles Cleveland Kitchens "Reverend" had the following child: 5 i. Velma Azaline3 Kitchens was born Scott County, Arkansas 1905. Velma died 1987 Scott County, Arkansas, at 82 years of age.

Today I learned that our Enoch Bowerman had 2 brothers, George and Charles who also lived in Arkansas. The native american connections seems to be thru his 1st wife Delilah Haines. She and Enoch had 3 dtrs. Fannie, Sylvia, and Naomi, ( N. died as an infant) Delilah married Jasper Williams after divorcing Bowerman. in ca. 1905 or so. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/xV.2ADI/804.1.1 Message Board Post: I'm not sure when my Ida Cobb was born but she was about 23 when she married my grandfather-that would make it about 1877. 1881 seems more likely because my mother was born in 1905 and her brother 1907 and sister in 1910, I'm not sure when she died but around 1915-20. My grandfather died April 6 1909, before the third child was born. The children were taken to an IOOF orphanage in Batesville until an uncle Pink Cobb went to get them. Pink died in 1949 in Atkins. Mother's parents lived in Carden Bottoms.
