Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AW.2ADE/828.1 Message Board Post: Hello Kelly, I have this information in my files; Hugh Swinton Gurley, born 1799 and died January 31, 1854.He was the son of George Washington Gurley (1763-1800) and Sarah Isabelle Robinson Bell (1758-1803) He married Charity Wiggs, born 1810 and died 1870. They had the following children; Isaiah, Elizabeth, Mary, Mellissa, William Kelly and John Anson Gurley. I am not sure about the Indian girl that they took in, could have been Elizabeth or Mary. Most of my information is on their son John Anson Gurley (1824-1855) who married Mary Wiggs. They had five known children. Hope this helps.
