Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AW.2ADE/626 Message Board Post: I am looking for a generation of Casey's who were in TN in the mid 1800's. One of them A.H. (Houston) Casey migrated to Woodruff County Arkansas near Cotton Plant to Homestead a farm there probably in the early 1880's. He and his (Cherokee) wife Lizzie had 3 male children in the Casey Settlement, who were Mac Houston, Dee, and O. T (Oliver Tomlin). A.H. remarried after Lizzie's death around 1915, and had 5 more children: Ethyl (f), Jeffrey (m), Dorsey(f), Kennel(m), Houston (f). I have no name for his second wife, nor do I have a time estimate for her birth or death. I suspect A.H. Casey's father to be Joseph B. Casey of Gibson County, TN. He and his wife Dianah had at least 8 children, and 4 grand children by the time of the 1880 census. Thee were 7 children noted in their marriage in 1886, and 2 children at home 12, and 14 in 1880 which may not have been included in the marriage records. 4/5 of these children I have not found names for and I believe one of these may be A.H. Casey. Any help would be greatly appreicated. Thanks, Debra Casey Adamson
