Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/AW.2ADE/802 Message Board Post: In addition to my great grandfather, John Henry Puckett of Woodruff County, I am also searching for any and all information concerning my great grandmother Cora (Corley) Hollis. She was born in either TN or AR born 10/14/1867 and died 12/5/1922 in Woodruff County, Arkansas and is buried at Harris Chapel Church Cemetery. Her mother's name was Eliza Coroley, although after she later married Coty Pircell (I am not sure of the spelling). Cora was married to Erwin Hollis who was born in Atlanta, Georgia in the early 1850's. She was a midwife and delivered many babies including eight of her grand children by her daughter, Minnie Lee (Hollis) Puckett. I would like to how I could find out about her midwife days and exactly how she became a midwife and did she have to have training. Also, if she had to be trained under a doctor and who the doctors were during those early years she was living in August. Thank you, Clara
