I am wondering about a place and if it is still there . Porter liquor store . If you live in McCrory. Is it still there ? Does anyone know if Porters still live in McCrory? My grandfather lived in McCrory in the 1910 census with his son Jack Porter and wife Emma. His name is James Milford Randell Porter. On the census he lived on Edmonds avenue next to Porter Best and his family. Does anyone know where that street is. I cant find it on a regular map.His brother was Andrew Jackson Porter was a preacher there and he is buried in Fakes cemetery. I do not know where J.M.R. Porter is buried.
