It is about the history of the county and history of the families who have lived and died here. I looked in the cemetery records for the names you mentioned and did not find them. These records are up to 1976, so if any have died since that date they will not be listed. If you could provide some dates for each I will see what else I can find for you. Regarding the sawmills that were operating at that time, I can probably get that information for you also in the next few days. Regarding your other query wanting to obtain a copy of the cemetery records, I don't know who has these now or if they are still available. The historical society is no longer active or meeting to my knowledge. If you need a look-up on someone in the records who died prior to 1976 I will be glad to do a look-up for you. I am publishing the greatest "Tribute to the War Veterans of Woodruff County, AR that has ever been published in a newspaper in the state of Arkansas to my knowledge. I am starting with the War of 1812 and coming forward to the Civil War in this weeks issue. Next week will be WW I and WW II War Veterans with a lot of genealogy information. The following week will be the Veterans in the Korea and Vietnam wars. I don't know where you live or if you already subscribe to our paper, but be sure you don't miss this if any of your family served in these wars from Woodruff County. Best regards and looking forward to hearing from you soon. Gary Telford Family Roots Woodruff County Monitor McCrory, AR 72101
