If so I will need their full name as well as any information you might have so that I may search my files. I might have this individual in my files. I would like to let you know I will be publishing in the Woodruff County Monitor (Family Roots) on October 29, 2003 a story of all the known Civil War Veterans captured in Woodruff County, Arkansas. It will consist of the soldiers name, rank, company & regiment, date of capture, date of confinement at the Little Rock Yankee prison (aka Rebel's Hell), date released on oath, paroled or the date forwarded North to a prison and a death date, and if known the illness or disease which caused their death. In many cases their burial information will be included. This article will also contain a complete history of the Yankee Prison in Little Rock commonly known as (Rebel's Hell). The article is a result of approximately eleven months of research. This is a tribute to our Civil War Vetersn honroing them for Veteran's Day. On October 5, I will publish another tribute to the other known war veterans of Woodruff County.
