She is buried in Augusta Memorial Park Cemetery. She was married to Anthony Simmons, no other information, They had 3 known sons; Joseph D. Simmons, born 1825; Fordyce Simmons, born 1828; Anthony Simmons, born 1830. On April 13, 1835 Penelope married Edward "Ned" Jeffries of Virginia and he died about 1838 in Tennessee. They had one known son; Octavius Edward Jeffries, born October 4, 1836 in Germantown, TN. On April 1, 1858 in Woodruff Co., AR he married Sarah O. "Sallie" Dupree Ross, daughter of Thomas M. and Ann T. Dupree Ross. Sarah Ross was born October 8, 1840 in Rossville, TN and died May 14, 1910 in Woodruff Co., AR. Both are buried in the Jeffries Family Cemetery, Woodruff Co., AR. They had six known children of which I have information if you would like it. Hope this helps.
