I am looking for any and all info. on the Roddy family. My great grandfather is Samuel Roddy, who was married to Martha or Margaret, who in the 1870 census had one son, William, my grandfather. However, I am still looking any information that could show Samuel's parents and Martha's. I am also trying find what state he was actually born. He said on the census, Arkansas and other census records showed TN or MS. I was hoping if you had any information concerning the slave owners of the Roddy slaves, it may show what the slaves names were and where they were born.
