I am descended from the above families, all of whom lived in Woodruff County. I remember spending time there as a child. I managed a quick visit this past summer and did some research at the library. I visited the graves of my Jett and McKnight ancestors, but could find nothing on the Camps, Brooms or Matchetts - am particularly searching for the graves of my gg-grandparents Dennis B. Camp and Sarah Margaret Matchett Camp. I know that Dennis died in 1879 - Sarah Margaret survived him and may have remarried. Their daughter Annie Carrie Camp married Robert Bunyan McKnight, known locally as "Uncle Bunny". I remember him well, and how I wish I had listened and remembered more of his family stories! My gg-grandparents John McKnight and Emma Broom are buried at the Oddfellows Cemetery, but I found no other graves nor records of graves for Brooms. Emma's father was John Broom, per the 1870 census. Again, thanks for any help.
