Yes, I have read your Family Roots column in the Woodruff Co. Monitor. I did the original work on The Matlock's of Woodruff Co., Ar. and Their Relatives. I did this for Mrs. Knight, who published it in the Woodruff Co. Historical Society Annual. I think you must have used it as a guide. I appreciate you publishing it again. I also enjoyed the Fowler line you had some three weeks ago. I sure wish I had the birth and death dates for the children of James Nathaniel Fowler and Nancy Jane Matlock. Is there any way I can get in touch, by e-mail, with the lady who did the research ? I think she lives in Augusta. The Barnets, the editor of the Monitor, is in this Matlock line also. She might not want to claim relationship with the Matlock/Fowler people. I started the research in October of 1974 and it continues today. I have covered lots of milage and made a lot of corrections in the last three years. I would like to talk with you about some of the material you have published that I have some knowledge about. Such as the Indians Mounds of Woodruff Co., The Battle of Fitzhugh Woods, The Roddy Cemetery, ect. I lived in Woodruff Co. from 1935 untill 1980. I am getting to long for this medium.
