The Tri-County Genealogical Society will meet Sunday, July 11 at 2 p.m. at the genealogy library in Marvell. Bobby Turner, incoming president, said, "To begin the new year, Tri-County is adding a new feature to its meetings. At business meetings when there is no formal program planned, a brief 'quick tip' or a 'genealogy hint' will be presented. These short genealogy hints and tips should be helpful to anyone doing research." The first of these 'quick tips' will feature WWII records and will be presented by Wanda Ridge. Members are urged to attend, and guests are welcome.
