He married Mary Trantham in TN 1843 and lived in Lewis Co. near her parents, Thomas & Sarah Trantham in 1850. Thomas Trantham appeared in the 1840 Hickman Co Census. Levin Watson also appeared in the 1840 Hickman Co Census with four teenage sons. Samuel would have been 17 then. Levin & Elizabeth appeared in the 1850 St. Frances, AR Census.
