    3. TIMES-PRESS-RECORDER San Luis Obispo, California April 13, 2005 Obituaries A.J. 'June' Stoker Grand A.J. "June" McClendon Stoker Grand of Arroyo Grande died Friday, April 8, 2005. She was 81 years of age. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at the Pismo Beach Moose Lodge, 180 Main St., in Pismo Beach. Burial will be at the Calaveras Lodge Masonic Cemetery in San Andreas. Mrs. June Grand was born April 26, 1923, in Deming, N.M., to Henry Dixon McClendon and Ollie Ann Sewell. She was a widow of James L. Stoker and Kenneth L. Grand. June lived as a young person with her Aunt "Tisha" and Uncle Frank Shue in Patterson, Ark. She attended Woodruff County public schools and first married James L. Stoker of Patterson in 1939 at Bald Knob. To this union four children were born, Robert L., Steven W., Jerry D. and James Daryl. She later married Kenny Grand of California, who had three children from a previous marriage, Vicky, Rene and Kenneth Jr. June was widely known and universally liked. Her cheerful disposition and jolly sayings won her hundreds of friends. She was very active in the Pismo Beach Moose Lodge and she loved going to Laughlin, Nev., every chance she had. Mrs. Grand is survived by her daughters, Rene Ims of Portsmouth, R.I., and Vickie L. Grand of Palm Desert; sons, Bob Stoker of Valley Springs and Steve Stoker of California; grandchildren, Wendy Collins, Larry W. Treen, Patricia Duncan and Robert M. Stoker; great-grandchildren, Amber, Jessie and Alicia Duncan, Aubrey R. and Julia Collins, Vinc! ent K. Bjorklund, Jimmy Williams, Kenneth L. Grand III, Michelle R. Grand and Michael Grand; close friend, Fred Fredlund; and many other great friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, J.L. Stoker and K.L. Grand; three sons, J.D. Stoker, J. Daryl Stoker and Kenneth L. Grand Jr.; and one grandson, Harley N. Wallace. Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover Beach.
