I'm beginning research into the "places" that my family lived, and I'm wondering if the historical books that the society offers will help in this endeavor. I am only researching the time period of 1876 - 1907. My ancestor, William Manning was a State Representative in 1888 from St. Francis County. The various census (and probate info) have the family in the counties of Monroe, Woodruff and St. Francis. With everything being so close, and he dieing in Hunter, I feel it wise to research all these areas.
