Arkansas Central Leader November 12, 1959 Former McCrory Man Believed Drowned in boat Mishap Hershel E. Parker, 33, of Brinkley, formerly of McCrory, fell into White River when a speedboat overturned Tuesday, November 10, and is believed to be drowned. Parker was on a deer hunt with two other men. He is the father of six small children. The party was traveling in a boat near the junction of the White and Cache River about 12 miles south of Brinkley when the craft hit a log and overturned.
