Robert Thomas Martin 1846-1931 Civil War Hero of Cotton Plant & Howell, AR. Also included in this issue of the Monitoor is the largest section, 14 pages, that has ever been published in a newspaper in the State of Arkansas, honoring all the war veterans of Woodruff County. This work is the result of two years research and I am very proud of it. We will be naming Woodruff County men from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, Spanish American War, Mexican War, WW I, WW II, Koren War and Vietnam War. Many sketches will give their service record, many with pictures. Also included will be the history of some of the wars and other information. This will be one issue you will not want to miss.
