However, he is not the Samuel you are looking for. The Samuel who was the son of Levin of Gregory was a well known Methodist minister in Memphis. He married Mary Dupree. He was the son of Levin Watson and his first wife Susanna (probably Boggs.) In my research I have seen a Levin Watson from North Carolina. The Gregory Levin was from Accomac Co., VA, and married Elizabeth Patey in Snow Hill, MD. They did live in Hickman Co., TN, at one time. I believe you have attempted to connect with the wrong Levin Watson family.
