    1. WOODRUFF COUNTY MAILING LIST
    2. I wondered why I never read a response to a question on this site. I thought maybe there were so few members that you couldn't hook up with anyone that searched the same family. Guess I could have checked the archive on Rootsweb to see the activity level, but it never occurred to me that the responses were not shared with the entire list. I think one way to get around that is to right click on the ARWOODRU-L@rootsweb.com in the "Reply To:" area of the address block and send mail that way, rather than hitting the "Reply" icon. That way anything sent to the list goes to the whole list and not just the sender. We just have to be sure to make the subject clear so people will know what is being discussed. The added value of responding that way, is that you don't have the question repeated at the end of the response. Hopefully we will hear from the list owner regarding these issues. I agree that seeing the responses to questions as they appear is more helpful than having to go to the archive and search. As long as the subject line is clear as the content of the email, folks can just delete whatever they don't want to read. Thanks for bringing about this discussion. Peggy
