My g-grandmother, Martha Young was born in Knoxville TN and married my g-grandfather, Arthur Sharp in Woodruff County. Through research I have found that there was a wilderness road that went from east to west in TN. US 70 and I-40 follow this general route today. I can't remember the name right now.
