She was born in Vanndale, but lived in and near McCrory for about 50 years. She is survived by two sons, Lee Rooks of McCrory and Rev. Z. T. Rooks of Vanndale, and one daughter, Mrs. Lula Long of Vanndale. Funeral services were conducted at the Fakes Chapel cemetery Saturday afternoon.
