They may know where they are now. However, due to the unwavering accuracy of "Murphy's Law", at the very last minute I found them on microfilm at their Library. I was able to find my William P. White's papers and to photocopy them from the microfilm. Perhaps you can find someone there who can read them for you.

Surnames: YOUNGHANSE Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AW.2ADE/773 Message Board Post: On the 1900 Jackson Co., AR census is an entry for John YOUNGHANCE and four children. The 2nd child, Oscar, was born in Woodruff Co., AR Sep 25, 1886. There is a Lee Co., MS marriage record, Dec 5, 1875 for J. W. YOUNGHANCE and M. E. MAXWELL. Supposedly, John's wife and four or five children died in AR in some epidemic. He returned to AL with the surviving children and married Mary Etta BLACK in Lamar Co., AL Mar 3, 1906. She and John are my grandparents. I am seeking any information relating to their AR sojourn --vital records, court documents, etc. to fill in this mysterious part of my ancestral background. Thanks.
