I have been searching for information on William Winfreym born about 1792 and died September 13, 1850 in what is now Woodruff Co., AR. He is buried in the old Jones family cemetery about 4 miles east of Augusta. Do you know anything about William Winfrey. I didn't find a burial recorded in the cemetery records for Mary Brown Winfrey. Do you know where she is buried? Waiting your reply. She lived in the Taylor's Bay area of Woodruff County, AR. On the back of the photograph is the name "F.W. Knight, Photographer, Wittsburg, Ark." Has anyone heard of the photographer? I would like to know when he was in business, as I have no date on the photograph, but suspect it was taken in the 1870's.

    3. Well, heavenly days, I am happy to hear from you! With all the children Ed and Rosie had, I felt there had to be descendants, but there are few records for later than 1930. Thank you for responding. My relationship calculator on Fam. Tree Maker says that Wm. Edward HOLMAN is my great granduncle. Looking forward to hearing from you . . . 3. Hello Debra, Thank you for your response to my search. As I said, Gary Telford, has helped me so much. He contributed the following to the "Woodruff County MONITOR-Leader-Advocate" on Wednesday, April 28, 2004. You can find it on this site: http://www.rootsweb.com/~arwoodru/marriages/grooms/male-adaade.htm, and click on "Gary Telford". It is an awesome story how I came to find this site, which I have already shared with Gary. There, you will find all I know about the JONES I referred to, that I know are related to the twin brother of my Grandmother Prudence Ann Parker Moore. He was John T. Parker and he married the Elizabeth Jones, born to Richard and Rachel Jones. This article, "MaBerry -- Vanished Town on the Cache River," was a big door opener for me, and confirms bits and pieces I had previously heard, but of course I want to know MORE!! I really hope something about this article gives you an insight, and I really will appreciate any further information you may have on this particular family. Blessings on you, Evelyn ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick walker" <rdwalker@grnco.net> To: <ARWOODRU-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, July 17, 2004 7:53 PM Subject: RE: [ARWOODRU] MOORE, PARKER, JONES, MABERRY > Evelyn, > > My husband is descended through a Jones family of Woodruff County.
