    1. THOMAS D.MARTIN AND WIFE SARAH
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AW.2ADE/911 Message Board Post: I have a Thomas D. Martin with wife Sarah and family living in Poinsette Co., AR on the 1860 census with their children, John, July/Julie/Julia, Sarah and Harriet. It has Thomas D. being born in TN, Sarah in North Carolina and all the children in Albama. They are in Craighead Co., AR on the 1870 census, where they were born is different, but I believe this is the same family. The son John is not listed, but another younger son, Thomas D. Martin, is now listed, born in AR. in 1861. On the 1880 census in Woodruff Co., AR. Sarah is living with her daughter, Julia, and husband, George Wilkerson, and Thomas D. (Jr?) is living a few houses away with a James J. Fitzgerold. I am trying to find out if this is the same Thomas D. Martin and Sarah Watson who married in Lauderdale Co. I believe that this younger Thomas D. Martin may be my great grandfather and would appreciate hearing from anyone who may know of them. Thanks Charlotte Christensen

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AW.2ADE/904.1 Message Board Post: Nancy, I am so excited over the possibilities of some replies to your inquiry. I hope they are on this site, but if not, please email me privately. I am really wanting to know about the CLACK family listed on the 1850 Richland Twp, St. Francis County AR Census. In HH 116, there is Reuben Clack (or Clark), 25, farmer, born in SC; Rebecca 27, born in SC. In HH 117, John Clark (Clack) 35 from SC; James. N. 13, AL; Amanda 10 MS, and Arianna 7 AR. HH 124 is Wm L. Dobkins, 29, his wife, Mary who is my Great Grandmother, Mary Parker Dobkins (Mr. Parker had died in the 1840s there). Among the children listed in this HH, is my Grandmother, Prudence Parker 12, along with her twin brother, John T. Parker. You really perked my ears up, when you referred to my Grandmother, PRUDENCE ANN PARKER (CLACK) MOORE. I have been so curious about that 1860 Census listing her in HH 908, next door to her Mother, Mary Dobkins in HH 907. Prudence A. Clack, 22; John Clack 2, AR; John T. Parker 22, AR. Would appear Prudence Ann Parker had a CLACK baby about 1858. I have searched and searched for who that Clack Daddy was. Prudence married the William Jasper Moore, 12, AR, there in HH 121 of the 1850 St. Francis, Richland, AR Census. Their first child that I can find is my uncle, Robert Lee Moore, born in 1866 in AR. I do believe the Daddy Clack was still in that area in early 1890s, as another uncle left behind a tape recording I ! found, in which he stated he had visited his half-brother Lum Clack in Yorktown. Where is Yorktown?? Thanks for any information. Evelyn
