I have been trying to find out who the mother of Dorthel (Jones) Marlin was for a long time now and you have given me the information. Jack Lindy Marlin was a nephew of Bartha Jane (Marlin) Sisk, my wife's mother. I went to Jack's funeral when he died and ask some of the people there and they did not know. I did not ask Dorthel as she was very upset with her husband's death. You did not give the death date of Ora May (McCuan) Jones, but I find a Mrs Mae Jones, November 8, 1887, died November 28, 1933, buried in Morton Cemetery, unmarked. Is this the right person? I don't have any information on James Ervin Jones as I did not know much about the Jones family but did have a lot of information on the Marlin family. Again, thank you so much. I have the article you are talking about. One of my relatives sent it to me several years ago then I also got the McCrory paper with the article. James Felker had a son named Peter and he married Nan Lemay. In the 1900 census they were both 21 years of age. I can not find anything on them after that date. My grandmother, Mary Etta Felker Best Taylor is their daughter. If you have anything else on Peter I would really appreciate you forwarding to me. Also, I sent you an answer to your message on Presley D. Jones. I just talked to my Mom and she said that Aunt May was also buried in the Morton cemetery. She is not sure of the date of her death. It had to be after 1928 because that was when Dorothel was born. Regards, Novel Taylor Poynor

You might try your nearest Latter Day Saints Library - they have indexes to so much, and can order things for a very small fee. In Little Rock, there's the Arkanas History Commission , near the State Capitol.
