I believe that Nathaniel Hutchins is the son of William Hutchins and Permelia (Smith) Hutchins Chiles. I have found a marriage record for Nathaniel Hutchins and Martha Apleton on 18 December 1847 in Fayette County, TN.
Leonard Patterson was married to my "Aunt Johnnie" as I called her. She was my grandfather's 1/2 sister. They had the same mother, my g-grandmother Alice Ruth Jelks. I think that's correct. I use to visit my grand parents in N. Little Rock during the summers. They had a convenience store next door to Uncle Leonard and Aunt Johnnie. And next to them lived a grand daughter "Patricia" with her parents. We played together as children. Jelks M., Willis, & Cleve Brazeale were children of Wm. F. & Sarah "Sallie" (Patterson) Brazeale, their sisters were Amanda, Barbara & Nelle Brazeale. Roy Joesph Rubottom (1895-1966) was one of twelve children born to William Penn & Martha Elizabeth (Foster) Rubottom. Roy Rubottom was elected Commander of Prince-Rhodes Post No. 112 of the American Legion. He succeeded Otto Miller, former commander. Walter William Jimerson (1885-1947) married Nelle Brazeale (above), (1891-1962). Walter Jimerson was Secretary and it is supposed that he was also cashier for the "Farmers and Merchants Bank of McCrory, AR", which was organized April 17, 1909 and closed August 26, 1914, for liquidation, with all deposits being paid in full. In 1917, liquidation was closed. I believe that the peach and pecan orchards were owned by Walter Jimerson. Best regards, Gary Telford wgt@centurytel.net

I saw one family name link I've been unable to find elsewhere -- Brazeale (only I knew it as Brozeale); my father had a trio of Brozeale cousins -- Jelks, Cleve and Willis (a couple of them served in World War I) in Woodruff County. The name Rubottom also called up memories; the Rubottoms (Roy was one of them, I think) worked a farm close by the pecan and peach orchard my father and grandfather set out in the 1920s. It was near McCrory, but I don't know the location. If anyone recognizes the trees (the peaches are long since gone, but the pecans were magnificent when I saw them in 1967), or knows the name the Jimerson Grove, I'd love to hear about it. The census also listed their 2 sons Lecil and Floyd (my father). Thomas was born 1882, died 1964. Ada was born 1882 and died in 1927 in Prairie Co. They were married in Prairie Co in 1902. I have been trying to gather information on Ada's family but have had zero success. She was born in TN. Dad said she "was from" Perryville TN. Do you have access to the census records? I have been following the William Andrew LINDSEY-Mary TARNO line. If you don't have access to the census, I do, I'll post what I have learned. Maybe we can work it out together.

We are from the David Boyd Crossett(1854-1940) line. I know a little about the Burns/Essex connection.Richard Byrn (later changed to Burns) lived 1774-1850. He married Sarah Essex (1786-1852) in Halifax County, Virginia in 1802. Then they moved to Carroll County, TN around 1831. Two of their daughters married Crossett brothers. William Andrew Crossett married Catherine Birns and Millt Birns married Henry Crossett. I have the names of the other Burns children and spouses if you need them. Good luck with the Native American angle. I have no knowledge of that. - Larry Campbell
