Major Benjamin Stites married a Mary Polly MILLS and it was found to be a bigamist situation. She left him and took the children she had by him, back to her family, not sure if it was in New Jersey or they were in and around PA at the time. Then she remarried and I believe it was too a man of the WOODRUFF name. This family is very wide spread and went from there all over the place. See www.familytreedna.com under MILLS, see DNA results page, check both category "F" and "V". My family line is of the "V" category Kit #33009. See also database on I think here on ancestry.com #1391008 for William MILLS, wife Amy, and definitely on RootsWeb.com under database #1391008. I know that this database is also on other genealogy sites too. It may take a little creative sleuthing to tie them together, because when they move from one part of the country, to another it makes for a little more confusion. I know that some of the MILLS of Ohio went out to Iowa and Missouri and then from there on. Texas and California and Oregon. Pat cw

Surnames: VAULNER, KEENE, HAYS, PITCHFORD, CONLEY, ROBERTS, GRAVES Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AW.2ADE/1013 Message Board Post: Hello, I am trying to find the descendants of my great-aunt Alberta Vaulner who married William Conley in 1900. They had 3 children: Albert, Dora (Tiney), and Herbert (Herb) Conley. Alberta died in 1916 and William continued to live in Huff, AR. The family is found on the 1910 and 1920 censuses for Huff. The 1930 census finds Albert Conley living with the McFarland family in Brushy Creek township. He is listed as being a widower. Herbert is in Brushy Creek also and is married to Sarah. The family history has them living in Tilton, AR after the death of William sometime around 1940. If anyone has any information on any Conley families in the Tilton, AR area, would you please let me know? I would like to contact them to find out if they are the missing line of our family. You can email me at bgraves34@texoma.net. Thanks, Bonnie Graves
