I know that the Prices were in what became White County by 1836 but at that time it was still Pulaski County. The Guthries were with them or Fielding Price would not have had Polly Guthrie for his bride. Somewhere I have Polly's dad's name, but where is a good question. The Turners were also interconnected a lot but mostly back in South Carolina. Fielding had a brother named Thomas who died fairly young. Thomas Price's son served with the 8th Arkansas and was at Camp Douglas, a Yankee prison in Chicago. Probably because he was young and strong when he was taken, he lived through that place. The reason I bring Thomas up is that they were named after each other so much, that it gets confusing. My experience has been if you found a Guthrie, you found a Price and vice versa.
