    1. Census Information for Walter A. Taylor
    2. I need help in locating Walter A. Taylor. I know he was in Kentucky Township, White County, by 1886 when his oldest daughter was born, but I would like to know if he was in White County in 1880. His wife's name was Susan Anna Evans, but I cannot find a marriage license for then in White County. I think he was born in Alabama and from his tombstone, he was born in 1856 Any help will be appreciated. Sincerely, Milton Davis May

    3. Milton, Did you know that the 1880 census is available online--free--from the LDS site at www.familysearch.com ? It is searchable from an every-name index. Click on the "SEARCH" tab at the top of the page, then on "CENSUS" from the menu bar on the left side of the page. It does not connect to the census images themselves, but it will show the entire family. Good luck.
