I'm sorry it has taken me so long to respond. My email address on the message board is old and I go to the site every few months and check to see if anyone has responded. I have just started researching the Massey family. I don't have a lot of information yet. My grandfather was William T. Massey, of ElPaso. My grandmother is Audean and my mom is Sandra. Do you have any information on your Grandparents? My grandmother said that she really didn't know anything since John Lee died before her and my grandfather got married. She said that he never really talked about it and said that John Lee was an orphan. However, I think that John Lee's parents were William S. Massey and Mary Massey. I found them on 1880 White County Census Records. There are three children listed Mary L. age 5, John L. age 7, and Jesse 8 months. I haven't found out what happened to them. The children I have listed for John Lee and Louella are (I found this information in my Grandparents family bible): Baby Boy Massey - born 1892 Roy - born Feb. 26, 1893; died Apr 18, 1976 Love - born 1894 Evelyn - born Nov 22, 1895 Myrtle - born March 11, 1899 Jim - born Feb 1901; died July 8, 1956 Eugene - born between 1905 & 1908 William Thomas - born May 3 1909; died Apr 2, 1994 Fern- born May 27, 1911 Ruby - born Apr 15, 1914 Glen - born June 15, 1917; died Oct 11, 1971 (I see from you message that your father's birthday was in 1916). Burl - born Nov. 20, 1922 I don't have any information on spouses and children of my grandfather's brothers and sisters. If you have any information, I would love to hear from you.
