At one time there was poor house in white county. It was located at what is now the White County Fairgrounds. Also, there was a cemetery just beside the fairgrounds for the poor house. Many of the stones have been destroyed, if they were ever there. Two remain. Look at the White County RootsWeb page at this cemetery. Was there a pauper's cemetary? Anyway...He was the black sheep of the family! Even though he sounds pretty bad, I'd still like to know who his parents and siblings were.
