Hi List, I want to thank everyone who responded to my request for Funeral Home Help. I called them today and got the tiny bit of info they had. All they had was the name of the cemetery. When I checked the cemetery list on line, he and his wife, Emma were not listed in the Oak Grove Cemetery. I know that my father had a headstone put there for him. I don't know what I am going to do now as no one seems to have a proper listing of the lots in that cemetery. The funeral home did not even have a lot number. They told me it was taken care of by the cemetery back then but they had a fire and all their records were lost. I am looking for the lots and headstones of Emma JONES, died in Marianna, Lee County in 1909 and transferred to Oak Grove Cemetery in Searcy and William M. JONES, Emma's husband, who died and Miami, FL. in May 1959 and transferred to Daniels Funeral Home (as it was known then) for burial in Oak Grove. Does anyone have any other suggestions? On line listings have not shown them. Where do I go next? I am not familiar with Arkansas and the customs of the state and counties. I am used to working with TN, KY, NC, New England and Canada.
