    3. The Short Post Office was in existence from 1901 until 1915. Alexander Pool and Joseph S. Walls were the postmasters. The post office was located in Section 34 of T9N, R7W. Today the community is known as Holly Springs (west of Little Red River, we also have a Holly Springs east of the Little Red River) This is 5 miles due east of Letona, and 8 miles due north of Searcy. It is in the south end of Clay Township.
