Hi, I just want to thank everyone helping me out on info on the fairground cem. Did the fairground know they were using part of a cemetery for their parkinglot? It is just hard to believe that the county(?) built over a cemetery unless they didn't realize it was there. Maybe during the next fair they can use some of the money for a small memorial in honor of those buried there. The whole thing seems so sad. I suppose even sadder since it was a pauper's cem.
