Catherine Coffey was the third wife of John Steven Benton. John was born 31 Jan 1863, He was 32 years old not the 23 years as stated in the marriage license. S. Benton. I don't know if it is John Steven Benton as only initials were used. And the date on the license says that he is 23 and she is 18. This is not in my family, so I only know what it says. You can get in touch with the White County Clerk's office and they can transcribe the license for you. I had a lady in the office helping me as one Coffee listing said it was on a page that it wasn't, so she probably would remember and she knows my name, as I spend a lot of afternoons there. I sure don't want to get it down wrong, that is why I went back to check on it. I am sorry if there is a mix up. Have a good day.
