If you are interested in the Pearce connection, I would suggest you try Independence County also. I am of the opinion that those folks all connected, though their descendents may not know it now. They had come out of Tennessee prior to the Civil War. I also know a lady who does research per chance you are interested in someone of that nature. Good Luck!

Since the Pearce connection has been mentioned, let me throw a little more in the pot. I am looking for a Julia or Julie Pearce that married a James Marion Jones. I've had connection to Lawrence County, Craighead County, Sharp County, Fulton County and possibly Izzard County. The Jones side shows coming from Tennessee as well.
