Searching for any information on William Raines (Ranes, Rains) and family found in 1900 Census in Garner Township, White County, Arkansas. At the time of the Census, William was 50 (born Ohio), wife Mary was 42 (born Ohio) , daughter Iona was 22 (born Ohio) and son Clide was 7 years of age (born Illinois). Another daughter, Rose, was born in 1900 in Arkansas. At one time Iona was the postmistress, later replaced by her father in Vinity. Mary is buried in Vinity Cemetery.
