L. SIMS married Aletha L. EDIE on 21 Nov. 1881 in Judsonia, White Co., AR. They had 3 daughters, Bess, Flossie(my mother), and Ora. "L" SIMS died sometime before 1900, since Aletha L.SIMS was listed as a widow in the 1900 census in Litle Rock, Pulaski Co., AR. "L. SIMS and Aletha L. owned property in White Co., but I have not been able to determine when or where he died, or what disposition was made of the property. Aletha (EDIE) SIMS remarried in 1907 a Baptist preacher named John Singleton Thomas and they lived in McAlester, OK. Thomas was a graduate of Judson University, a preacher at the First Baptist Church in Searcy, also on a train car "Church on Wheels", also at the First Baptist Church in McAlester, OK, and the author of 2 novels. L. SIMS appears in the 1880 census in Judsonia. In the census, his given name is hard to read, but appears to be "Lenius". His name was Charlie, or Charley Leonard SIMS(my grandfather), I have been told(no documentation). I am seeking any additional information on his death, burial, parents, siblings, etc.of L. SIMS. Any help will be sincerely appreceated. (He is one of my "brick walls".) Leonard B. Parker Fort Worth, TX(formerly North Little Rock, AR)
