In October 1906 my mother Bessie MILTON was born in Beebe, White Co. Arkansas. Her parents, William Bell and Hallie Jane (Newman) MILTON had moved from Kentucky perhaps three years earlier. The returned to Kentucky by 1908. The only other thing I have heard is that he went to Arkansas to be a partner in a tanning business and when that failed he worked as a gardener in Hot Springs.
